Litigation Attorney
Location: Colorado (Licensed to practice required)
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic legal team. As a member of the Litigation Practice Group, the attorney will manage a broad range of litigation matters—primarily insurance defense, but also including both plaintiff and defense cases related to breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, FHAA complaints, covenant enforcement, judicial foreclosures, and other real estate matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage district court (and some county/administrative) cases from intake through trial, appeal, or settlement.
Conduct case evaluation, discovery, legal research, and writing.
Communicate with clients regarding case status and strategy.
Attend and lead client meetings as needed.
Participate in firm business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado.
7–10 years of litigation experience, preferably with district court trials and/or insurance defense.
Proven track record of case management from start to finish.
Required Skills:
Exceptional legal writing, editing, and research skills.
Strong independent judgment and discretion.
High attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
Strong initiative and forward-thinking approach to assignments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with Practice Master (or similar client management software) and NetDocuments (or similar document management software) is preferred.
A portable book of business is a plus.
