Field Services Engineer

Location: Fargo, ND
Type: Full-time, Onsite

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair equipment and software to align with customer specifications.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to optimize equipment performance and ensure longevity.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to clients.
• Adhere to safety standards and uphold company protocols in all service activities.
• Generate detailed service reports and analyze system performance.
• Support sample migration and assist with ongoing customer operations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of service activities and records.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements to continuously enhance service quality.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science (AS) degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of Field Service experience or military technical training
• Strong background in electrical and mechanical systems
• Skilled in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and independent decision-making
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Must possess a valid driver's license, passport, and be eligible for a credit card
• Experience with PCs, Windows, DOS-based operating systems; Oracle knowledge is highly beneficial
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and operate in cold environments
