About Our Client:
This manufacturing company located in Oak Ridge North, Texas is looking for a full time permanent Human Resources Generalist.
Responsibilities:
• Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
• Employee Relations and Communication: Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive work environment. Create an open and trusting work environment.
• Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems and employee development programs.
• Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal labor and employee benefit laws and company policies and maintain accurate HR records.
• Training and Development: Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• HR Reporting: Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making.
• Timekeeping & Payroll reporting: Ensure that information transmitted to the payroll provider is accurate and timely.
• Process Improvement: Constantly look for opportunities to improve administrative activities and enhance the employee experience.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Generalist.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ADP and interaction with third party payroll vendors preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
