Summary: Experienced Field Service Technician supporting advanced frequency and power conversion equipment used in defense, aerospace, and marine environments. Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and commissioning 3-phase/single-phase systems both on-site and in the factory. Committed to safety, customer satisfaction, and technical excellence with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, commission, and repair frequency and power conversion systems in field and factory settings.
Respond promptly to customer technical inquiries via phone or email.
Coordinate domestic and international travel for field service work, including necessary logistics and parts preparation.
Train customers on the safe operation and maintenance of power equipment.
Maintain detailed and accurate service documentation for internal and customer use.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve service-related issues and escalate sales opportunities when identified.
Support customer satisfaction through timely and professional field service execution.
Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience working with 3-phase electrical power systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
Ability and willingness to travel frequently, including internationally, often with short notice.
Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal.
Valid driver’s license and U.S. passport required.
High commitment to safety in high-voltage environments.
Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 90 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, crawling, kneeling, and reaching.
Comfortable working in confined spaces and elevated areas.
Regular exposure to three-phase high-voltage systems.
Work Conditions: Up to 50% domestic and international travel.
Occasional overtime both on-site and while traveling.
Varied environmental conditions depending on field assignment locations.
Education: Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent from a technical trade school or military electronics program. #rimus
