Their innovative mixing technology is helping companies across multiple sectors streamline their processes and improve results. As they continue to expand their product lines and scale operations, they are seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations to help lead the next stage of their growth.

Role Overview
This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing, production, and operational strategy across a rapidly scaling, vertically integrated facility. The Director will lead teams across production, quality, supply chain, safety, and engineering support functions. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned operational leader with strong business acumen and a passion for high-tech industrial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the manufacturing and production strategy, including oversight of quality, EH&S, production engineering, logistics, and supply chain
  • Build operational infrastructure and implement best practices to support new product lines and scale efficiently
  • Direct resource planning for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce
  • Develop and manage safety, regulatory, and quality assurance protocols across operations
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP and MRP systems
  • Support cross-functional collaboration across R&D, engineering, and leadership teams
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that enhance cost control and product quality
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team development
  • Create and maintain a high-performing organization through cross-training and skill-building
  • Serve as a key contributor to executive-level decision making and operational forecasting

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited); Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing and warehouse operations
  • Proven success managing complex product lines and production teams in a high-tech environment
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, inventory control, and warehouse logistics
  • Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making abilities
  • U.S. Citizenship required (due to regulatory and contractual requirements)
  • Willingness to relocate to rural Montana (relocation support provided)
