About Our Client
Our client is a well-established, fast-growing engineering and advanced manufacturing company. Their innovative mixing technology is helping companies across multiple sectors streamline their processes and improve results. This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a collaborative R&D-focused team that’s passionate about innovation, precision, and real-world impact.

Role Overview
This role is ideal for an experienced mechanical design engineer who thrives in a hands-on, dynamic environment. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll lead the design and development of both prototype and commercial products, contribute to custom client solutions, and take ownership of projects from concept to completion. This position blends deep technical work with cross-functional collaboration, offering the chance to contribute to state-of-the-art technologies in a purpose-driven, product development environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full project ownership—from requirements gathering and prototyping to testing and production handoff
  • Conduct analyses, create technical documentation, and present findings and design recommendations to leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and operations
  • Support design for manufacturability, cost optimization, and reliability across product lines
  • Perform CAD modeling, drawing creation, and simulation using SolidWorks and ANSYS (or similar tools)
  • Continuously refine and improve design practices to meet evolving client needs and industry standards

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited program preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical product design and development
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and FEA tools (ANSYS strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience designing complex systems from concept through production
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
  • U.S. Citizenship (required due to regulatory requirements)
  • Willingness to relocate to rural Montana (relocation assistance provided)
