As a Tax Manager you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their tax-related needs, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring the organization stays ahead of tax regulations and strategies. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as the ability to analyze and implement tax plans that align with the business objectives. You will be responsible for the following job duties:
· Tax Planning and Compliance: Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, local, and international tax returns. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Develop tax strategies to optimize tax obligations and minimize liabilities.
· Client Engagement: Engage with clients to provide tax planning, advice, and oversight. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Address client inquiries and provide solutions to tax-related issues.
· Team Management: Manage and oversee the tax production team. Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to staff and supervisor-level team members. Coordinate and review the work of junior tax staff.
· Tax Research and Analysis: Conduct research on tax laws and regulations. Analyze financial data to identify tax savings opportunities. Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and inform clients and team members.
· Strategic Planning: Develop and implement best practices for tax processes and procedures. Advise management on the impact of new tax laws on the company’s tax liabilities. Prepare and present detailed reports on the company’s tax situation to senior management.
· Specialized Tax Services: Provide expertise in specific areas such as entity, individual, fiduciary, and gift/estate taxation. Handle complex tax issues related to investments and multi-state taxation. Assist with mergers and acquisitions, ensuring tax efficiency and compliance.
· Process Improvement: Implement process improvements and best practices in tax preparation and compliance.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year DOE
Expected hours: 40 per week
