Our client in Plano is looking for a File Clerk, temp-to-perm opportunity, on-site.
must have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:- Experience coding and filing documents
- Experience operating basic office equipment, (e.g., photocopier, facsimile, multi-line phone/voicemail systems, mailing machines, and computer programs)
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and relate well to others
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers both in written and verbal communications
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information
- Strong dedication to performing and producing at the highest level of quality at all times
- Positive demeanor passionate about customer happiness
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Physical Requirements
- Read rapidly from both paper and a computer terminal
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as: lifting, standing, sitting, reaching, twisting, sealing envelopes, filing, and reading
- Ability to lift and transport up to 30 lbs. and push carts
Duties / Responsibilities
- Perform file operations and maintenance including file storage, maintenance, interfiling, consolidations, and audits and searches and respond to file requests
- Filing copies of Auto-related SLP documents
- Providing support for the processing of forms and applications used in the SLP process.
- Other duties as assigned
- Handling inbound correspondence by printing, notating accounts, and distributing to appropriate persons
- Filing documents both physically and electronically and maintaining the file system
Preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service, administrative or clerical experience
