Position: Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer
Location: Central Marin
Compensation: $85,000–$130,000 base + overtime, depending on experience

Overview:
Seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper and Tax Preparer to support multiple external clients. This role requires a detail-oriented and dependable professional with strong multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Heavy tax preparation for individuals, corporations, and partnerships

• Manage monthly and annual closings, including preparation of journal entries

• Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure timely processing of disbursements

• Prepare and generate financial statements for multiple clients

• Complete assigned tasks and projects  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience filing various types of business taxes for an accounting firm 

• Proven experience working with QuickBooks and tax preparation software

• Prior experience handling multiple client accounts concurrently

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Experience with Lacerte tax software preferred

• Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Team-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach
