Job Description:

Our client, a well-established law firm in Miami, is seeking an experienced Maritime and/or Admiralty Attorney with 5+ years of practice to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for a driven legal professional with strong industry contacts or an existing book of business to step into a leadership role, managing a team of attorneys and support staff. Compensation for this position is highly competitive and reflective of the responsibilities and growth potential.

Qualifications:

• Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
• 5+ years of experience as Maritime and/or Admiralty Attorney 
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and efficiently
• Established industry contacts or a portable book of business

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload of maritime and admiralty matters
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including large self-insureds, insureds, and governmental entities
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and support staff
• Contribute to business development initiatives and firm growth
