Job Description

Our client, a manufacturer located in West Knoxville, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team. Ideal candidate will exhibit a strong sense of urgency and task ownership, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Job responsibilities include:
o Payroll processing and related salary reconciliations
o Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
o Customer order processing and invoicing
o Cash management including bank reconciliation and review
o Monthly close, journal entries, account reconciliations and GL analyses
o Internal control development and compliance
o Assist with budgeting with budget to actual analysis
o Rolling forecasting highlighting financial trends
o Prepare all audit and tax return preparation work papers and assist auditors/consultants as needed
Qualified candidate will have:
o Bachelor's degree in accounting or related study
o At least five years of general accounting experience
o Experience working in manufacturing industry
o ERP systems experience
o Strong Microsoft Excel skills
o Excellent problem-solving ability and top-level attention to detail
