Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with over 5 years of experience to join our Client’s team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to projects that enhance the efficiency and reliability of essential infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Develop and oversee the installation of electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.​
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.​
  • System Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of existing electrical systems to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.​
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all designs and installations meet local, state, and federal regulations, prioritizing safety and sustainability.​
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance during the construction and commissioning phases, addressing any electrical engineering challenges that arise.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and documentation for all electrical engineering activities.​

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.​
    Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically related to water and wastewater treatment facilities.​
    Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe.​
  • Familiar with NEC, NFPA, ISA, IEEE, and local electrical codes
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in electrical design software and familiar with the latest industry technologies and practices.​
    Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.​
    Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions in a timely manner.​
  • Experience with SCADA systems and instrumentation related to water and wastewater facilities.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient design practices.​
