Job Title: CA Foreclosure Attorney (Remote)

Job Description

Purpose

To manage both judicial foreclosure and litigation cases with an emphasis on residential real estate litigation, mortgage, and transactional matters, and to protect the client’s interest in litigation proceedings.

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities

Manage cases from inception to completion.

Prepare analysis of cases and advise clients regarding strategies.

Draft court pleadings.

Handle discovery, including filing and defense of motions.

Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person.

Other duties and special projects as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree.

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

5 years’ experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate, or mortgage law.

Admission to practice law in the state of California. Other bar admissions to states where the firm practices is a plus.

Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Must have the ability to interpret client systems.

Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.

Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.
