We supply several temporary staff for a variety of government Office Assistant/Administrative roles such as Filing, Mail Clerk, Clerical, Administrative Assistants, Word Processing, Data Entry, Desktop Publishing, and Reception.


About our Client
We are currently seeking an Administrative Services Senior for our client in North Vancouver, Department of National Defence- Federal Government. This is a full-time temporary position and working hours will be from 8 am – 4:30 pm. Our client is looking for those who have already obtained their Reliability Status security clearance to be added to our roster of available temp help staff. Alternatively, if you do not have a Reliability Security Clearance and are willing to obtain one, then we still want to hear from you. Recruiting in Motion can assist you with obtaining your security clearance documents. Responsibilities

  • Reception duties: fielding phone calls, interacting with customers
  • Working closely with the case management team to create cases in a case management system
  • Tracking compliance, and following up and communicating with clients
  • Processing large volumes of sensitive client data
  • Providing administrative support to the office
  • Overseeing general tidiness of office
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Approved Reliability Status security clearance with the Canadian Government, or a willingness to get the required clearance
  • Must have lived in Canada for a minimum of 5 years, without leaving for more than 6 consecutive months
  • Must have experience and/or knowledge of processing invoices
  • Must be willing to complete a criminal record check, fingerprinting, and a credit check
  • A minimum of 1-year previous experience in an office environment
  • Experience working with government bodies    
  • Proficient in MS Office and Information Management System
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Friendly and personable demeanor
