Position Overview
The Sports Principal will drive client satisfaction, business growth, and project excellence within the sports sector. Your Impact

Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with key clients in the sports industry.

  • Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring alignment with their goals and expectations.

  • Conduct regular check-ins, presentations, and feedback sessions to gauge satisfaction and identify improvement opportunities.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities in the sports sector to expand the firm’s portfolio.

  • Partner with marketing and business development teams to execute strategic growth plans.

  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance visibility and credibility.

Project Oversight

  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of sports facility projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve challenges and maintain seamless execution.

  • Monitor project milestones and performance metrics, proactively addressing risks or delays.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and inspire a team of client engagement and design professionals, fostering skill development and accountability.

  • Align team efforts with the firm’s strategic objectives to drive client and organizational success.

Strategic Planning

  • Shape the firm’s strategic vision for the sports sector, contributing to long-term growth initiatives.

  • Advise senior leadership on opportunities to enhance service offerings and market positioning.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in client engagement, business development, or project management within architecture or sports facility design.

  • Proven success in managing high-profile client relationships and delivering large-scale projects.

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams to achieve excellence.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of sports facility design standards, construction processes, and industry regulations.

  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.
