About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a professional Senior Manager, Property Accounting with at least 8 years in accounting (Big 4 preferred), 4+ years in leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential real estate.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and guide accounting and accounts payable teams.
  • Manage monthly financial tasks and ensure smooth closing.
  • Handle internal and external reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Supervise budgeting, funding, and money movement.
  • Oversee statements, disclosures, and documentation.
  • Examine financial reports and track key trends.
  • Manage annual audits and resolve accounting issues.
  • Work with teams on budgets and financial projections.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and suggest fixes.
  • Enhance accuracy and upgrade financial systems.
  • Establish accounting for new rental and development sites.
  • Team up with leadership on key initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Finance, Commerce, or related degree + CPA.
  • 8+ years in accounting (Big 4 preferred), 4+ years in leadership.
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and financial reporting skills.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and high-quality standards.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office; Dynamics 365 & Yardi a plus.
  • Residential real estate experience preferred.
