About our Client
Our client is a is an industry leader in supplying and servicing energy-efficient products, including dock seals and shelters, dock levelers, air curtains, high-speed doors, HVLS fans, and various other equipment. They are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join their team. The outside sales rep is responsible for promoting the sales and service of dock levelers, dock seals/shelters, industrial doors, HVLS Fans, air barriers, overhead door service and more.
Salary starts at 70 K plus commissions and full benefits Responsibilities
Develop and implement a customized territory sales plan, while managing service needs and being accountable for deliverables.
Consistently meet sales targets and effectively communicate any limitations to your manager.
Manage an existing customer base and proactively cold call new prospects.
Generate and track qualified sales leads, performing marketing and follow-up to encourage customers to open business accounts.
Attend meetings to promote all products and services while maintaining professionalism.
Prepare and present detailed quotations, staying informed about competitor products and offerings.
Minimum 2-3 years of sales or account management experience with comfort in presenting to small audiences.
Experience in the Overhead Door industry.
Excellent cold calling skills are essential.
Strong time management abilities.
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Outstanding presentation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
Above-average organizational, planning, and administrative abilities.
Excellent customer relationship skills.
University degree or College diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management is an asset.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Knowledge of skilled trades (e.g., construction, industrial, dock, and doors) is a plus.
