About our Client

Our client is a is an industry leader in supplying and servicing energy-efficient products, including dock seals and shelters, dock levelers, air curtains, high-speed doors, HVLS fans, and various other equipment. They are looking for an OPERATIONS MANAGER to join their team. The Operations Manager ensures service and installation functions run efficiently, meeting customer needs and expectations while promoting effective communication and continuous improvement.

Salary starts at 90 K plus bonus and full benefits 

Responsibilities

Field Staff Management

  • Support and engage field staff daily.

  • Ensure efficient work handling (service, install, PM).

  • Monitor time and attendance for billing accuracy.

  • Participate in scheduling calls and track staff locations.

  • Recruit and train new staff.

Service Management

  • Optimize scheduling with the inside team.

  • Review orders for timely completion.

  • Attend site visits with the Project Manager as needed.

  • Conduct job walkthroughs and warranty assessments.

Facility & Asset Management

  • Monitor GEO reports and maintain inventory.

  • Ensure facility cleanliness and safety.

  • Perform truck audits and check tool condition.

Health & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

  • Maintain certifications and complete daily inspections.

Financial Management

  • Improve technician efficiency using KPIs.

  • Resolve accounting and billing issues.

  • Handle customer escalations.

Reporting

  • Analyze KPIs and P/L reports.

  • Address service and install escalations.


Qualifications

  • Must have 5 years leading a team 
  • A commitment to high professional ethical standards
  • Clear and respectful communication with staff and suppliers always
  • An ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while managing sometimes
    conflicting deadlines
  • A collaborative management style that engages with the larger organization for the
    benefit of all
  • The ability to effectively delegate responsibilities and tasks when appropriate
