Position Overview
Our client is in search of a results-oriented, customer-centric Regional Sales Manager to drive client engagement, support market growth, and nurture lasting customer relationships. In this essential role, you will be a trusted partner to public safety organizations, helping them identify and implement the most effective fleet solutions tailored to their specific needs.
As the primary point of contact for regional clients, you will be responsible for building strategic partnerships, uncovering new business opportunities, and ensuring an exceptional experience that promotes trust and encourages repeat business. Your consultative approach will be key in assisting clients to make informed decisions, which will ultimately contribute to revenue growth and an expanded market footprint.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Consultative Sales
  • Act as a strategic advisor for clients by understanding their unique needs and providing customized fleet solutions.
  • Proactively engage with both new and existing clients to ensure every interaction adds value and strengthens long-term partnerships.
  • Offer expert guidance on product features and capabilities, helping clients make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Conduct professional presentations and demonstrations to effectively showcase the benefits of the products.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships through consistent communication, including follow-ups by phone, email, and text.

Market Expansion & Business Development
  • Identify new growth opportunities and strategically expand the client’s footprint in East Texas.
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy that aligns with customer requirements and overall business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, leveraging existing contracts to secure new business.
  • Continuously analyze industry trends and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Client Relationship Management & Operations
  • Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, leads, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
  • Effectively track and convert leads into successful sales.
  • Promptly address and resolve client concerns, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the client experience from initial contact through post-sale support.

Strategic Growth & Performance Excellence
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets by applying a structured, customer-focused approach to sales.
  • Provide regular reports on regional sales performance, emerging trends, and potential business opportunities.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay ahead of industry advancements and evolving client needs.

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in public safety equipment, fleet solutions, or related fields.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with a genuine desire to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Excellent client service and relationship-building skills, along with strong negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with internal teams to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Professional, dependable, self-driven, and focused on achieving results.
  • Previous experience in public safety (Police, Fire, EMS) or with fleet upfitters is an asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication tools.
