Our reputable client, in the distribution sector, is seeking a Sales Branch Manager to join their team!
As part of their expansion into Western Canada, they are opening a new branch in Winnipeg and are looking for a driven Sales Manager to lead sales and operations at this new location.
In this role, you will drive business growth, expand market share, and build long-lasting customer relationships. You will be the main point of contact for clients, focusing on new business development. This role requires excellent relationship-building skills to cultivate strong connections with clients, distributors, and key stakeholders.
This position reports directly to the President. You will also work collaboratively on a project basis with other Sales Account Managers, particularly those at our Quebec branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively gather market insights and identify new growth opportunities.
- Increase market share by converting prospects into loyal customers.
- Establish and maintain relationships within the security, access control, and networking sectors.
- Qualify prospects according to company criteria and sales goals.
- Set and track sales targets for the fiscal year, ensuring steady progress and success.
- As the company expands, you may play a role in the launch and leadership of the new Winnipeg branch.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience or an equivalent background; a background in the security industry is an asset.
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Strong initiative, drive, and enthusiasm.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.
- Solid knowledge of access control and security systems is an asset.
- Strong work ethic, with a commitment to achieving results while maintaining high ethical standards.
