Corporate Controller – Private Equity-Owned Manufacturing Group
�� Location: Alachua, FL (Gainesville Area) | �� Full-Time | Onsite | Full Relocation Package Offered

Currently Recruiting-  A growing, private equity-backed manufacturing group is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead our accounting and financial reporting functions. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with strong technical accounting skills, manufacturing industry knowledge, and experience in a dynamic, PE-backed business.

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer


Key Responsibilities

�� Financial Reporting & Accounting

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with precision and timeliness

  • Prepare and present consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP

  • Deliver reporting packages to executive leadership and private equity stakeholders

  • Drive improvements in the cash conversion cycle

�� Banking, Insurance & 401(k)

  • Oversee daily banking activity, reconciliations, and treasury functions

  • Manage insurance and surety relationships, annual audits, and renewals

  • Lead the 401(k) and workers’ compensation audits

�� Licensing & Compliance

  • Oversee contractor license applications and renewals across multiple jurisdictions

  • Ensure business registrations are accurate and up to date in all active states

  • Maintain third-party safety and compliance platforms (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta)

  • Respond to customer pre-qualification and compliance requests

�� Leadership & Cross-Functional Support

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing accounting team

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and executive leadership to support strategic decision-making

  • Serve as the primary administrator for ERP user access and work with IT/consultants on system issues

�� Additional Responsibilities

  • Support facilities management, including real estate and building maintenance

  • Provide ad hoc financial and operational support to sales and operations teams


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred

  • 3–5 years of financial management experience, ideally in a PE-backed or high-growth environment

  • Proven leadership in managing multi-site accounting teams

  • Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls

  • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial/ERP systems

  • Background in manufacturing, construction, or a similar industry strongly preferred

  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, collaborative culture
