MEP Project Manager – Education Sector
Role Overview
Lead mechanical teams in designing MEP systems for K-12 and Higher Education projects. Serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, and engineers to deliver compliant, high-quality plans and specifications.
Project Leadership:
Define project scope/objectives with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
Develop and maintain schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
Oversee Construction Administration, including site observations and compliance.
Coordination & Communication:
Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams (internal/external).
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
Execution & Compliance:
Apply project management methodologies to tailor execution strategies.
Resolve issues using engineering tools and ensure documentation accuracy.
Escalate critical challenges to leadership proactively.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
PE License (Mechanical/Electrical).
8+ years of engineering experience; 4+ years in MEP project management.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Valid driver’s license; 20% travel readiness (may include flights).
Preferred:
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in educational sector projects (K-12, Higher Ed).
