This role involves coordinating plant electrical system designs, reviewing vendor drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and fellow engineers.

Electrical Engineer – Power Systems

Position Overview
Design and manage electrical power systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards while coordinating multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee electrical designs: single-line diagrams, circuitry layouts, wiring plans, and construction documents.

  • Coordinate plant electrical systems, ensuring adherence to codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA).

  • Review vendor/subcontractor drawings for compliance with specifications and design integrity.

  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, architects, and engineering teams to align project goals.

  • Conduct QA/QC checks on electrical designs and deliverables.

  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource coordination across disciplines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.

  • P.E. License required.

  • 6–8 years of engineering consulting experience.

  • Proficiency in RevitAutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
