About Our Client

Our client, an industry leader, is looking to add a stand-alone Payroll Manager to one of their growing portfolios. This Payroll Manager will oversee end-to-end payroll and administer benefits for their US team.  If you are looking for a fully remote Payroll Manager opportunity, and have US payroll experience, look no further!

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end US payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions and benefits administration, such as, insurance and healthcare plans.
  • Prepare payroll reports.
  • Support HR with decentralisation of US benefits and subsequent ongoing administration.
  • Conduct regular payroll audits and ensuring compliance with local regulatory labour laws, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Process new hires, terminations, promotions and other employee status changes in the payroll system, to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Payroll certification PCP/PLP, an asset
  • 3+ years of experience managing US payroll 
  • In-depth knowledge of US payroll processes, labour laws, taxation and statutory compliance and US benefits 
  • Ideally experienced with ADP and/or SAP, and experience implementing and managing payroll systems.
  • A team player with a strong sense of accountability and accuracy
