Key Responsibilities:
Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including those for OVDP and Streamlined compliance. Review client data and generate journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform reconciliations and assist with various tax compliance tasks. Cultivate strong, professional relationships with clients and collaborate with personnel across departments. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience is required. Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards. Proficient in journal entry preparation and understanding accrual vs. cash accounting. Experience with calculating GILTI. Familiarity with tax forms such as 1040, 8858, 8865, 1120, 1065, 5471, 5472, FBAR, and other relevant tax filings. Experience with CFC and Foreign Partnerships Categories classification, as well as Check the Box Election. Additional Skills & Experience:
Proficiency with tax preparation software such as UltraTax, Pro Systems, QuickBooks, and Practice CS is preferred. Advanced Excel skills are a plus. Why Join Us?
