Position Overview: PSM (Professional Surveyor and Mapper)

Registered Land Surveyor position available with a Professional Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm. Candidates must have working knowledge utilizing GPS base rover, total station, TDS, and Carlson data collection software and equipment experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of land surveying, GPS control, control using total stations, ALTA surveys, property surveys, topography and existing conditions surveys, utility and as-built recovery and construction stakeout
• Assist survey technicians with the production of mapping products and computations
• Other duties as assigned related to field data
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in order to operate a company vehicle

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years working experience
• PSM license
• Ability to operate Total Stations and fluent in GPS, static, RTK, and RTN collection protocols
• Familiarity with Carlson SurvCE and TDS software a plus
• Sufficient knowledge to handle most survey-related tasks in the field including the ability to review and understand construction drawings and perform associated layout
• Experience in reading and understanding deeds and plats
• Experience in the recovery of boundary evidence in the field
• Ability to collect as-built and topography data, provide sketches, and work with survey technicians to develop mapping products
• Utility locating experience a plus

Salary: 85k-120k with future ownership opportunities

SIGN ON BONUS: $5,000.00 paid after 3 consecutive months of employment.
