About Our Client

Our client, one of Canada's leading HR solution company is looking for a Bilingual Payroll Compliance Specialist to join their fast-growing team on a remote basis. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with potential for advancement. Reporting to the manager, you will primarily be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for your portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • First point of contact for members with any questions, discrepancies, and concerns regarding their membership
  • Conduct payroll market research including salary bands, government legislation, etc.
  • Support and manage clients with payroll inquiries
  • Support clients with any reconciliation, training, or ad hoc reports

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of end-to-end payroll experience including the reporting piece
  • Bilingual(English and French)
  • Processing payroll for Ontario, Quebec, and two other provinces
  • Must have at least one of three designations: PCP, PLP, CPM
  • Asset if you experience processing unionized and nonunionized experience
  • Big assets if you've worked with a payroll service provider
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
