Job Description

LeverageTek is actively seeking a DevSecOps Platform Engineer for a 12-month contract with its Canada-based customer.

Work Location

This is a remote position with no onsite requirement. No travel is required.

Key Tasks

• Build developer self-service capabilities and standardized development workflows (“golden paths”) to help development teams deliver software securely and efficiently

• Create reusable templates and AI-enabled workflows supporting Java, Python, .NET, and Azure Functions

• Automate platform provisioning, deployment processes, and monitoring

• Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with integrated application security controls

• Integrate and support application security tools, including Mend, Snyk, Microsoft Defender, ServiceNow, and related technologies

• Implement and promote consistent security standards and best practices across development teams

• Identify, investigate, and remediate vulnerabilities affecting the DevSecOps platform

• Improve developer productivity and experience through automation, reusable tooling, and standardized workflows

• Collaborate with application development teams and platform stakeholders to drive adoption of secure development practices and platform capabilities

• Explore and implement AI-enabled workflows to enhance developer productivity and secure software delivery

Key Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in DevSecOps, platform engineering, or a related software delivery engineering discipline

• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery workflows

• Practical experience integrating application security practices, vulnerability scanning, and remediation into the software development lifecycle

• Experience developing automation, reusable templates, standardized workflows, or developer self-service capabilities

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application environments

• Reliability Status, or eligibility to obtain it before the November 27, 2026 contract start date

Qualifications

• Experience working with one or more of the following technologies: Java, Python, .NET, and Azure Functions

• Experience with application security tools such as Mend, Snyk, Microsoft Defender, or comparable solutions

• Familiarity with ServiceNow and security workflow integrations

• Experience with automated provisioning, monitoring, and infrastructure automation

• Experience building internal developer platforms, golden paths, or standardized development environments

• Knowledge of secure software development practices, software supply chain security, dependency scanning, and automated security gates

• Exposure to AI-enabled developer workflows and automation

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with development teams to implement and adopt platform standards

• English language proficiency

Compensation

Hourly Rate Negotiable. This is an existing position vacancy.
