Job Description

LeverageTek is actively seeking an IT Project Manager (Infrastructure & Network Deployment) for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location:

The successful candidate will be required to work 4xdays per week on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa.

Key Tasks

• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and IT transition initiatives
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables and status reports
• Coordinate office network installation and related technology readiness activities
• Work closely with infrastructure, networking, workplace technology and other IT teams
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and implementation timelines
• Coordinate vendors, technical resources and business stakeholders
• Facilitate project meetings, track action items and communicate progress to stakeholders
• Support implementation planning, change coordination, testing and operational handover
• Identify delivery risks and proactively resolve issues that could affect timelines or outcomes
• Ensure infrastructure deliverables are completed according to agreed requirements and schedules

Key Qualifications

• Approximately 8-10 years of project management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating successful delivery of IT projects
• Demonstrated experience managing IT infrastructure, network deployment, technology implementation or transition projects
• Experience coordinating technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders

Qualifications

• Strong project planning, risk management, issue resolution and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver within a defined timeline
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience managing network installations, office technology deployments or infrastructure transitions
• Cisco and networking project experience
• Experience delivering projects within a Microsoft-centric environment
• Microsoft Azure or cloud infrastructure project experience
• Experience coordinating employee transitions, office moves or enterprise IT service changes
• Experience with implementation planning, testing, cutover and operational handover

Compensation

Hourly Rate Negotiable. This is an existing position vacancy.
