Job Description

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager with payment or ticketing systems and API integration experience for a 12-month part-time contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

The successful candidate will be required to work on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa. Remote work may be approved by the Project Authority.

Key Tasks

• Engage partner organizations to build their capability to integrate with the customer's Barcode API
• Guide partner organizations through the technical requirements for Barcode API integration
• Provide project management, planning, coordination, and consultation
• Work with Legal Services and external counsel to develop an appropriate legal structure for integration agreements
• Establish a financial reporting and billing process with partner organizations
• Provide timely project communications to stakeholders
• Support and coordinate field trials and pilot activities, including delivery plans, stakeholder coordination, site and vehicle access, validation feedback, and operational and customer readiness
• Engage new potential third-party partners to expand integration of transit with ticketed events
• Produce the project plan, bi-weekly progress reports, stakeholder engagement materials, and a generic third-party agreement

Key Qualifications

• 10 years of experience related to the implementation of complex technology infrastructures
• 2 years of experience in project management of the implementation of a new technology solution
• Experience working with payment or ticketing systems

Qualifications

• Experience developing applications using an Application Programming Interface (API)
• Bilingualism in reading and writing (French and English)
• Bachelor of Computer Information Systems, Bachelor of Administration/Commerce, or equivalent
• PMP or Prince2 certification

Compensation

Hourly Rate Negotiable. This is an existing position vacancy.
