Job Description

LeverageTek is actively seeking an ETL and BI Reporting Developer for a 3-month contract with its customer.

Work Location

This is a fully remote position. No onsite attendance is required.

Key Tasks

• Design, develop, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards to support business and examination reporting requirements
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources
• Write complex SQL queries and develop staging tables, stored procedures, and database views
• Integrate data from Dynamics 365, legacy datasets, and third-party platforms
• Support API integration and troubleshoot data-access and transformation challenges in collaboration with external vendors
• Transform legacy data structures to align with current data models and reporting requirements
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business objectives into technical solutions
• Collaborate with technical team members to refine user stories, prioritize deliverables, and manage work through an agile delivery process
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and reliability
• Provide regular progress updates, identify dependencies, and proactively address delivery risks

Key Qualifications

• Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience in BI reporting, ETL development, data engineering, or a related discipline, including strong hands-on Power BI report and dashboard development
• Demonstrated experience building ETL processes and transforming data from multiple sources, including structured and legacy datasets
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, data manipulation, staging tables, stored procedures, and views

Qualifications

• Experience integrating data through APIs and web services, including REST and/or SOAP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate data discrepancies and resolve integration challenges
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver within established timelines
• Experience with Azure Data Factory for data integration and ETL orchestration
• Experience developing Azure Functions, preferably using Java; C# experience may also be relevant
• Experience integrating data from Dynamics 365 and third-party SaaS platforms
• Familiarity with Power BI semantic models and data modelling best practices
• Experience working with legacy systems and transforming historical data into modern reporting structures
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for source control, backlog management, and collaboration
• Experience working in agile project environments

Compensation

Hourly Rate Negotiable. This is an existing position vacancy.
