About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to support a major Treasury technology and vendor integration initiative within a large financial services environment.

The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on technology delivery experience with deep knowledge of QRM or comparable Treasury / Asset Liability Management platforms, along with business knowledge of ALM, Interest Rate Risk (IRR), and/or Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP).

This role will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to analyze complex requirements, understand data and system integrations, document current and future state processes, and support the successful implementation of Treasury technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements.

• Analyze current-state processes and requirements related to ALM, FTP, and IRR.

• Translate complex business requirements and business rules into detailed technology requirements.

• Support the implementation and integration of QRM and related Treasury technology initiatives.

• Lead requirements workshops and stakeholder working sessions.

• Develop data flow diagrams, process models, system architecture diagrams, and message mapping documentation.

• Analyze and reconcile large datasets to identify issues and support business decisions and technology solutions.

• Create user stories and acceptance criteria using JIRA and Confluence.

• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain data lineage, data catalogs, source-to-target mappings, governance documentation, and controls.

• Use SQL to perform analysis across large and complex datasets.

• Support system, integration, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.

• Assist with test scenario definition, requirements validation, and defect triage.

• Work with APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and application integration patterns.

• Apply AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, documentation, productivity, and delivery outcomes.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, technology solutions, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5–10 years of overall Business Systems Analysis / Technology Delivery experience.

• Minimum 3 years of experience implementing, integrating, or supporting QRM or a comparable Treasury / ALM platform, OR significant experience delivering large-scale enterprise systems within financial services, Treasury, risk, or another complex data-intensive environment.

• Strong understanding of QRM, Treasury, ALM, IRR and/or FTP concepts and processes.

• Strong SQL and data analysis skills with experience working with large, complex datasets.

• Advanced experience analyzing and reconciling data to drive requirements, decisions, and solutions.

• Strong process modeling and diagramming skills, including data flows, system architecture, and business process maps.

• Experience using JIRA and Confluence for requirements management, Agile delivery, documentation, and traceability.

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into detailed technology requirements.

• Hands-on experience with data integration, system testing, validation methodologies, and process documentation.

• Strong understanding of enterprise technology delivery practices across design, development, testing, and implementation.

• Experience developing and maintaining governance, requirements, and solution design artifacts.

• Working knowledge of APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and system integration patterns.

• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, documentation, and delivery.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams.

Nice to Have

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of financial products, balance sheet management, and interest rate risk management.

• Experience with Python, SQL, PowerShell, or other programming/scripting languages.

• Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.

• Experience creating source-to-target mappings, data lineage, and integration specifications.

• Knowledge of data governance and data quality management.

• 5+ years of experience working within an Agile delivery environment.

• Previous experience within a major financial institution.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a technically strong Business Systems Analyst who can operate comfortably between Treasury business teams and technology teams.

They should understand the business concepts behind ALM, IRR and FTP, while also being able to work hands-on with QRM, SQL, complex datasets, integrations, APIs, requirements, testing, and technical documentation.

Strong communication is essential, as this individual will be expected to lead requirements discussions, challenge assumptions, translate complex business needs into technology solutions, and work with multiple stakeholders to drive successful delivery.
