About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior IAM Systems Engineer – Authentication Services to join a large enterprise technology and security environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on enterprise authentication services, with particular emphasis on RSA SecurID, RSA Authentication Manager and RSA Cloud Authentication Service.

The successful candidate will lead the full lifecycle of authentication-service implementations, from initial business and project handoff through installation, configuration, integration, development, testing, deployment and production support.

This role requires strong technical expertise across IAM, authentication, federation and enterprise security technologies, combined with the ability to work effectively with architecture, security, infrastructure and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of enterprise authentication-service implementations
Manage solutions from initial requirements and project handoff through installation, configuration, development, testing, deployment and production support
Serve as a subject matter expert for:
- RSA SecurID
- RSA Authentication Manager
- RSA Cloud Authentication Service
Configure, customize, integrate and troubleshoot RSA authentication platforms across complex enterprise environments
Provide technical guidance related to performance, scalability, reliability, security and operational readiness
Participate in architecture, design and technology discussions for new authentication solutions and enhancements
Support the implementation and integration of Multi-Factor Authentication and Single Sign-On solutions
Work with authentication and federation protocols including SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
Collaborate with business units, Technology, Security and platform teams to define technical deliverables
Ensure IAM solutions are effectively integrated into enterprise standards, processes and procedures
Troubleshoot complex authentication and integration issues across Windows and UNIX/Linux environments
Support incident resolution and perform root-cause analysis
Identify and remediate security and operational risks
Identify opportunities to improve authentication services through automation, standardization and engineering best practices
Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation standards and operational procedures
Support continuous improvement of enterprise authentication services

Must-Have Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on IAM or Authentication Engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with RSA Authentication Manager
Strong hands-on experience with RSA Cloud Authentication Service
Experience installing, configuring, integrating, developing and supporting RSA authentication technologies
Strong understanding of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Strong understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO)
Experience with authentication and federation technologies including:
- SAML
- OAuth 2.0
- OpenID Connect
Strong understanding of network security, authentication and authorization
Understanding of Identity Lifecycle Management concepts
Experience deploying enterprise software
Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues across Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex enterprise environment
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams

Relevant security and IAM certifications are considered an asset, including:

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on IAM / Authentication Engineer, not a general Systems Administrator or high-level IAM governance resource.

We are specifically looking for someone who has directly installed, configured, integrated, developed and supported RSA Authentication Manager and RSA Cloud Authentication Service in an enterprise environment.

The strongest candidates will combine deep RSA authentication expertise with knowledge of MFA, SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, along with strong troubleshooting and production-support capabilities.
