Senior Functional Consultant, Microsoft Dynamics NAV WMS
Location: Markham, ON (2 days onsite)
Duration: 4-month contract
Rate: $80 to $85 per hour

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics NAV Warehouse Management to lead the assessment, optimization, and enhancement of an existing WMS environment. This role requires a seasoned professional who can bring a fresh perspective, challenge current processes, and drive meaningful improvements in system performance and operational efficiency.

The consultant will act as a trusted advisor, working closely with IT, supply chain, and warehouse teams to redesign workflows, improve adoption, and stabilize operations in a structured and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Assess the current NAV WMS implementation to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks
• Lead process mapping and optimization workshops with business stakeholders
• Redesign warehouse workflows including receiving, put away, picking, replenishment, and inventory management
• Configure and optimize NAV WMS to improve operational performance
• Support system testing, validation, and go live activities
• Train and coach end users and internal teams to improve system adoption

Required Experience
• 8 or more years of experience working with ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central
• Proven experience implementing and optimizing multi location NAV WMS environments, with at least two full implementations
• Strong hands on experience with WMS configuration including:

• Mobile and barcode scanning
• Bin, zone, and picking strategies
• Replenishment and item tracking
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective NAV configurations
  • Demonstrated experience leading process redesign and transformation initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work onsite and collaborate with operational teams

Nice to Have
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, logistics, or other regulated environments
• Public sector or large enterprise experience
• Exposure to supply chain optimization or lean process improvement
