Position Details

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking experienced local Excavator Operator's for work at our project in Abbotsford, BC

• Schedule: 10 days on, 4 days off
• Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
• Wage: $37.89 - $44.28

What You Will Be Working On

• Responsible for the safe operation of equipment following manufacture's and industry standards
• Plan and execute operation activities to avoid schedule delays
• Excavate trenches, ditches, and foundations according to specifications.
• Ensure the accurate finishing & grading of surfaces according to project specifications.
• Operate Equipment in tight work areas and in proximity of workers, underground utilities, overhead power lines
• Maintaining, cleaning, and fueling equipment.

What We Are Looking For

• CSTS 2020
• WHMIS 2015
• BC Ground Disturbance
• At least 3 years of finishing & grading experience
• At least 3 years of deep excavation experience
• Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
• Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
