Position Details

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking local Journeyperson & Apprentice Welders for work at our Fabrication Shop project in Nisku, AB for Night Shift.

  • Wage: As Per Collective Agreement
  • Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement

What You Will Be Working On

  • Perform welding tasks according to blueprints, schematics, and specifications
  • Operate power tools and equipment
  • Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety standards
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines

What We Are Looking For

  • Accredited Journeyman/Apprenticeship ticket
  • Must have a valid FCAW & CWB ticket
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
  • Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in welding operations
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
