Start Date: Immediately
Schedule: Maintenance 8 days on 6 days off - 10 hour days

What You’ll Do 

As a Quality Control Inspector, you’ll ensure our work meets the highest standards by: 

  • Implementing and maintaining our Quality Management System. 
  • Preparing and reviewing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), technical documentation, and material requisitions. 
  • Conducting inspections on materials, welds, and fabrication processes to ensure compliance with codes and specifications. 
  • Coordinating with clients and inspectors for hold/witness points, pressure testing, and NDE activities. 
  • Supporting audits, resolving nonconformities, and ensuring traceability and documentation accuracy. 

What You Bring 

  • CWB Level 1 or 2 certification and 3–5 years’ experience in construction or maintenance. 
  • Strong knowledge of welding procedures, codes, and standards. 
  • Experience with regulatory bodies (e.g., ABSA, TSBC) and quality documentation. 
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office. 
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. 

Assets 

  • Journeyman trade certification or diploma in Welding/Materials Engineering Technology. 
  • Certifications such as API 510/570/653, CWB Welding Supervisor, or NACE Coating Inspector. 

Required Safety Tickets 

  • CSTS 2020 
  • Emergency First Aid 
  • Energy Safety Canada 
    • H2S Alive 
    • Confined Space Entry 

Working Conditions 

  • Work at heights and in confined spaces 
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions (indoor/outdoor) 
  • Must be clean-shaven for PPE compliance 
  • Use of personal safety equipment (e.g., steel-toed boots) required 

Physical Requirements 

  • Lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally more with assistance) 
  • Stand or walk for extended periods 
  • Use arms/hands to handle tools and materials 
  • Climb ladders, scaffolds, and other structures
