Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. This role is a unique combination of administrative responsibilities and accounting tasks, requiring proficiency in both areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Administrative Support:

 

  • Provide general administrative support, including managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, records, and documents.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, expense reporting, and reimbursement processes.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and other documents.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Perform basic accounting tasks, such as data entry, reconciling bank statements, and processing invoices.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

 

Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or accounting role.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
