Job Description

The Investment Administrator plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, managing various savings and investment accounts, including GICs, RSPs, and RRIFs, and ensuring the smooth processing of daily transactions. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, process, and administer all investment products, including Savings, Chequing, and Business Accounts, GICs, RSPs, and RRIFs, handling tasks such as renewals, principal and interest payments, and generating savings and investment statements.
  • Process Deposit Agent commissions, estate transactions, and re-registrations accurately and efficiently.
  • Understand and apply bank policies and procedures related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) to ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Maintain control over the cash drawer, managing and balancing it on a daily basis.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with Deposit Agents, ensuring all transactions adhere to due diligence procedures.
  • Perform duties related to bank account clearing on a daily basis.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, providing quality service to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in credit union, bank or financial institution
  • Strong knowledge of GICs, RSPs, and RRIFs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
