Job Description

We’re seeking a results-driven Business Development Account Manager to support our sales growth and client acquisition efforts. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, initiating outreach to prospective clients, managing the sales pipeline, and supporting high-level client engagements. Working closely with the CEO, the successful candidate will help prepare strategic sales materials, coordinate key meetings, and ensure the sales process runs smoothly from lead generation through to deal closure.

- $30/hr + commission  
- Fully on-site, located in Markham 


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update customer and sales records to ensure data accuracy and integrity within internal systems.

  • Support end-to-end sales activities, including proposal preparation, pricing coordination, and contract finalization.

  • Conduct research to identify and qualify prospective clients through proactive outreach and lead generation efforts.

  • Analyze market and competitor trends to identify new business opportunities and support strategic planning.

  • Assist in the development, organization, and maintenance of sales collateral, including brochures, pricing documents, and presentation materials for client engagements.

  • Prepare detailed sales reports, performance summaries, and presentation decks for executive leadership.

  • Conduct proactive research to identify potential business opportunities, initiate initial contact with prospects, and assess their suitability for further engagement.

  • Provide administrative support as required, ensuring smooth execution of sales operations and assisting with various ad hoc tasks as needed.


Qualifications & Skills

  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, account management, or sales (experience in manufacturing or custom products is a plus)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); strong Excel skills for report building and data tracking

  • Demonstrated experience managing both inbound and outbound client communication

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational abilities with an aptitude for managing multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities

  • Comfortable working closely with senior leadership in a high-visibility, fast-paced environment

  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering an excellent client experience
