Are you passionate about cutting-edge memory design? We’re seeking a Memory Circuit Design Engineer to join our client’s team in Ottawa. This is a high-impact role working on advanced semiconductor technologies, contributing to the development of next-generation memory solutions.
Design and optimize SRAM memory architectures with a focus on critical path modeling, full cut analysis, and Monte Carlo simulations.
Participate in the full embedded memory design flow, including:
Architecture definition
Circuit design
Physical implementation
Compiler automation
Characterization and model generation
Execute design verification: sense amplifier analysis, self-timing, and marginality analysis.
Validate characterized data for performance and accuracy.
Evaluate the impact of physical design choices on circuit behavior and performance.
Work with advanced technology nodes, including 28nm and below.
2–3+ years of experience in Memory Design, particularly with SRAM design tools.
Proven experience using Cadence Spectre for circuit-level simulation and design.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics (E&E) or Electronics & Communication (E&C).
Strong understanding of memory architectures and advanced semiconductor processes.
Effective communication and strong team collaboration skills.
