We’re looking for a technically-minded Junior Data Analyst who thrives on solving problems, asking the right questions, and working with large sets of operational and production data. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to grow into a full-time, long-term role supporting ERP operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Contract to start
Located fully on-site in Aurora, ON
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Input and update business-critical data in SAP, including materials and production schedules.
- Analyze system data to identify errors, inconsistencies, or gaps — and actively recommend improvements.
- Work with Excel outputs from SAP — using macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced tools to clean and manipulate data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements.
- Track and maintain ERP data to ensure forecasts and demand figures are accurate, addressing any discrepancies or issues as they arise."
- Troubleshoot issues, misaligned data structures, and reporting bugs.
- Be an active thinker — not just a data entry person. Speak up if something doesn’t look right.
What You Bring:
- 1–2 years of experience in a data analyst role OR strong recent graduate with internship/co-op exposure.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, formulas).
- Understanding of ERP systems — SAP knowledge is ideal, but ERP experience (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is acceptable.
- Curiosity, initiative, and the confidence to question existing data flows.
- Ability to code or automate reports (e.g., using Python, Power Automate, VBA, etc.) is a strong plus.
- A self-starter mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and system optimization.
