Job Description

Job Title: Business Analyst – HR Systems Transformation

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Procurement, and other key stakeholders to gather and analyze both business and technical requirements for the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive and structured Request for Proposal (RFP) in alignment with university policies and public procurement standards.
  • Define evaluation criteria and scoring methodologies to guide the vendor selection process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all RFP-related activities, including vendor information sessions, proposal evaluations, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Analyze vendor responses, develop comparison matrices, and deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to inform decision-making.
  • Support the evaluation and selection of the implementation partner, ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational needs.
  • Assist in contract negotiation and documentation to ensure transparency, compliance, and strategic fit.
  • Maintain detailed records of decisions, findings, and lessons learned throughout the RFP and vendor selection process.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in large-scale enterprise software projects.
  • Experience working within higher education or public sector institutions.
  • Knowledge of public procurement regulations in Ontario or Canada.
  • Understanding of organizational change management in the context of enterprise system implementations.
  • Proven expertise in writing RFPs and managing procurement processes for complex IT or HRIS implementations.
  • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
