Job Description
We’re hiring an experienced Recruiter to support one of our clients—a large and respected healthcare organization based in Toronto. This is a 3-month contract opportunity designed to support high-volume, full-cycle recruitment within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Duration: 3 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles
- Screen resumes, coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, and facilitate offer processes
- Provide strategic recruitment consultation to hiring managers, offering guidance on market trends, sourcing strategies, and best practices
- Ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external candidates
- Support recruitment efforts for hard-to-fill and niche roles
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, ideally in a high-volume or fast-paced setting
- Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare-adjacent environment is required
- Experience recruiting within a unionized environment is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities with a consultative and strategic approach
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and capable of hitting the ground running
- Proficiency with ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
