Mobilization Coordinator – Remote (1-Month Contract with Possible Extension)
Hourly Rate: $28.85/hr
Start Date: ASAP
On behalf of our non-profit client, we are actively recruiting Mobilization Coordinators who are passionate about meaningful work and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. This is a remote, full-time, 1-month contract with a possibility of extension based on performance.
As a Mobilization Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the deployment of emergency response personnel across Canada, helping to ensure smooth onboarding, travel, and data tracking in high-pressure situations.
Workforce Sourcing & Coordination
Generate candidate lists based on planning targets and validate availability
Confirm deployment suitability and collect necessary documentation (e.g., informed consents)
Maintain compliance with all data and call tracking requirements
Deployment & Scheduling Administration
Book travel and accommodations through approved vendors
Prepare and distribute welcome packages to mobilized personnel
Track and manage changes to scheduling, travel, and deployment arrangements
Data & Records Management
Maintain accurate records and ensure systems are updated in real time
Track daily progress against staffing goals and escalate issues as needed
Provide a high standard of customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Team Collaboration
Work as part of a high-functioning virtual team
Share best practices, contribute to training efforts, and support peers
Escalate issues appropriately and help maintain team momentum
1–2 years of experience in HR, coordinator, scheduling or customer service roles
Experience coordinating logistics or workforce deployment is an asset
Strong multitasking and time management abilities
Comfortable working across multiple systems and managing shifting priorities
Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with SmartSheet is a plus
High-speed internet and access to your own computer with webcam; dual monitors are an asset
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Successful candidates must complete a criminal background check
Full-time hours scheduled between: 8:00 AM–11:00 PM (MST)
5 working days per week between Monday and Sunday
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays is required
