Job Description
Our retail client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Ottawa on a 3-month contract (with potential for extension/permanency). The Project Manager will support cross-functional initiatives that span operations, finance, marketing, and business development—adapting to the unique needs of each business unit.
This role offers remote work flexibility, with the expectation of occasional in-person meetings at our client's Ottawa office.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multiple projects and tasks across teams with minimal supervision
- Support operational and financial planning, including timelines, budgets, and resource forecasting
- Interpret performance data and contribute to strategic decision-making
- Assist with high-level business operations and project execution
Qualifications:- 5+ years of project management experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or accounting
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate across functions
- Experience in business, finance, or operational environments
- Strong analytical thinking and a strategic mindset
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-industry settings
- Familiarity with business strategy, financial modeling, or M&A is an asset
