Job Description

Our retail client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Ottawa on a 3-month contract (with potential for extension/permanency). The Project Manager will

support cross-functional initiatives that span operations, finance, marketing, and business development—adapting to the unique needs of each business unit.

This role offers remote work flexibility, with the expectation of occasional in-person meetings at our client's Ottawa office.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate multiple projects and tasks across teams with minimal supervision
  • Support operational and financial planning, including timelines, budgets, and resource forecasting
  • Interpret performance data and contribute to strategic decision-making
  • Assist with high-level business operations and project execution

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or accounting 
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate across functions
  • Experience in business, finance, or operational environments
  • Strong analytical thinking and a strategic mindset
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-industry settings
  • Familiarity with business strategy, financial modeling, or M&A is an asset
