We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst for an implementation of a centralized Curriculum Management System (CMS).
Roles and Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize academic program processes to support the rollout of a new curriculum platform
Develop documentation and business cases to support project milestones and internal approvals
Work closely with faculty, administrators, and technical teams to understand needs and translate them into actionable system requirements
Map and redesign processes using visual tools and methodologies to highlight gaps and improvements
Help coordinate the selection and onboarding of the new platform vendor, including input into procurement activities
Oversee testing efforts and assist in the development of training strategies to ensure a smooth transition
Monitor progress and support the project team in aligning deliverables with institutional goals
Provide input into change initiatives, user communication, and adoption planning
Qualifications and Skills
Extensive experience working on enterprise projects in a business analysis capacity
Strong background in reviewing and improving operational workflows and systems
Demonstrated success gathering and translating user needs into clear business and functional documentation
Familiarity with project life cycles from planning to implementation, ideally in system-focused initiatives
Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to work across departments and engage stakeholders
Comfortable working in complex environments with evolving priorities
Education
Post-secondary degree in business, information systems, or a related discipline
Nice-to-Haves
Prior involvement in projects at colleges, universities, or public institutions
Experience with curriculum or academic systems
Professional certifications in business analysis or project management
Exposure to structured change approaches or tools
Knowledge of procurement processes for enterprise systems
