Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to build your career in corporate and structured banking? Our client—a leading global financial institution—is seeking a Corporate Banking Associate-Sponsor Coverage to support the origination and execution of complex transactions across infrastructure, power, real estate, and private equity sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior bankers, support institutional clients, and gain hands-on experience with high-profile deals.

Roles and Responsibilities

Deal Origination & Execution

  • Support the structuring and execution of new transactions for global financial sponsors.

  • Assist with due diligence, credit assessments, and internal approvals.

  • Prepare pitch books and marketing materials to support client meetings and new business development.

Credit Analysis & Portfolio Monitoring

  • Build and update financial models and cash flow analyses.

  • Draft credit applications and internal memos for transaction approvals.

  • Monitor existing transactions, including ESG reviews, waivers, and amendments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams across credit, legal, compliance, and operations.

  • Coordinate with external stakeholders including clients, legal advisors, and accountants.

  • Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, investment banking, or related financial services.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Solid understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and risk assessment.

  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

  • Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Familiarity with ESG concepts and sponsor finance is a strong asset.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
