We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Finance Systems Manager to lead the development, implementation, and support of enterprise-level financial technology solutions. This role will oversee a cross-functional team of Business Systems Analysts, Developers, and QA professionals, ensuring seamless delivery of applications and systems that support finance operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the daily operations of the IT finance systems team, including performance management, coaching, and recruitment.
Manage end-to-end software delivery across the development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
Oversee support and maintenance of financial systems to ensure system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with service level agreements.
Guide application architecture, system integrations, and deployment strategies for ERP and finance-related platforms.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to align technology initiatives with business goals.
Drive modernization efforts, integrating legacy systems with scalable, secure, and efficient new technologies.
Ensure governance, compliance, privacy, and security standards are met across all systems.
Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and portfolio management for technology projects in the finance domain.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of experience delivering and supporting IT systems in a finance or ERP environment.
3+ years of experience in a people leadership role with direct reports.
Strong understanding of enterprise financial applications, particularly ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI, FS-CD, MM, SRM).
Experience with API integration, microservices architecture, and enterprise identity/access management.
Proven ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
Experience working in Agile environments; ITIL knowledge is an asset.
Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks in enterprise environments.
