Job Description
Our client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist with at least 3 years of experience to join their team on-site in Oshawa. The ideal candidate will be skilled in sourcing top talent using creative search strategies and be an excellent communicator, capable of building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of roles across the organization.
- Proactively source candidates using a range of methods, including social media, job boards, referrals, and networking.
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure alignment with role requirements and company culture.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Promote the company’s employer brand to attract high-quality candidates.
- Monitor recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Create and manage onboarding materials to support a smooth and effective new hire integration process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
- Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with various job platforms and search tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian market and relevant employment laws and regulations.
